How to open a Popup from a WordPress Nav Menu

Nav Menu gives an opportunity to your site visitor to be oriented to find an appropriate section/information on the website.  

Accordingly, we are going to show 2 options to set a trigger on a navigation element to open a Popup.

Option 1

Required steps:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard >> Appearance, after then click on the Menu section.

 

2. Open the Screen Option (which is available on the top of your screen) to enable the CSS class.

 

3. Click on Custom Link to fill in and insert the proper Popup CSS (for this sample we use a Log In type for the Log In button).

 

4. After adjustments press on the Save Menu button.

 

5. See the result on your website.

 

6. Now, please click on the Log In section to preview the proper Popup (for this case we use Log In Popup type).

 

Option 2

Required steps:

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard >> Appearance, after then click on Menu.

 

2. Click on Custom Link to fill in and insert the proper URL (for this sample we use a Log In Popup type for the Log In button).

 

3.  See the result on your website.

 

4. Now, please click on the Contact Us section to preview the proper Popup (for this case we use Contact Form Popup type)
